Fun, Fabulous, Glorious Fall

It's no secret I love living in
Maine.
One of the most magical times of year is
fall.
It's no exaggeration how beautiful it is.
But it's more than just the
trees and the colors.

I love the excitement of the
coming holiday season
~ brisk air ~ football games ~ candy corn ~ crockpot goodies ~ pumpkin patches ~ sweaters and jeans  ~ boots and scarves ~ the smell of smoke in cold air ~

I love it all.
Specially Nuggets in a giant
pile 'o leaves!

Bubba, of course, with a bag of
goldfish crackers.

(and Spiderman boots coupled with shorts)

Frolicking.
Well, Fox is.
Sai's had enough.

A giant pile 'o leaves!
You can see another equally large pile behind them.
They were all over and it was a beautiful day to be playing in them.
Leaf-removal
in New England is an entire industry up here.
It's no joke!

The view from my
front porch!!
Love!
For a little over a week everything was covered in gold.
It looked amazing on sunny days!

Backyard.
Path to the
'Baby Park'.

Playing.
Yes, Fox has no pants on,
Bubba is wearing a Batman cape,
and Sai is barefoot.

Half of the playground.

The first of the trees are starting to turn.
These pictures just do not do them justice.
Ahhhhh well.....

Dark storm clouds were coming in, but the sun was still shining on this tree behind our house.
It looked like it was on fire.
Sadly, my camera captured none of that.
Still pretty.

~ Home Sweet Home ~

Pumpkins and Mums.

"FLYING LESSONS"
By Appointment Only

My
'crashing witch'.
I finally had the perfect tree to put her in!

My assistant and I getting our circle of
dancing ghostesses
ready.

This turned out to be a
neighborhood favorite.
It was so much fun and looked great
 rain or shine,
(literally)
day or night, all month long.

We even added a fire pit.
Sai was the most excited about this addition.
We filled it with Christmas lights so it looked like they were dancing around a fire.
Ahhh-mazing!
(toot-toot)

Logan and Bubba lended their
  artistic talents
to the ghost faces.

Bubba's handy work.
Love the long lashes.

Logi's contribution.

So excited he was practically
squealing!
All the ghostesses.....all in a circle....
he knew something cool was going to happen!

Purday dancing ghostesses.....

And just because......
Amy and I ooozing creative juices.
So proud.
