California Christmas

After four long years away.....
the clan was heading back!

"Going back to Cali, to Cali, to Cali....."

My one and only shot of our travels!
Checking in, Portland, Maine!

All things considered the lil Norts did remarkably well.
We flew out mid-morning.
One and 1/2 hour flight down to Jersey,
a quick layover,
and the doozy,
a five and a 1/2 hour flight to LAX!!

Every minute of every hour was noted on that flight!
We landed around 3:30.
Didn't get picked up until 5:30,
and had a long drive back to Apple Valley in
Los Angeles rush hour!
I think we arrived around 8 pm!
(11pm Maine time!)

It was a long day.
But it was over and we were
HERE!!!!!

Nevermind the kids woke up at 3:30 the next morning.
(6:30 am Maine time)
That about killed us!

Re-discovering the Buffalo!

Storytime with Audz!
(Note Sai sitting off to the side!)
What the.....?
??????

Aaron loves the beebies!

Christmas Eve tradition:
cornish game hens!!

We each get our own lil chicken!

The toast!

The crowd.

It was a great night.
A wonderful dinner.
So nice to be with everyone,
all in the same place laughing and talking around a great meal!

Christmas Eve tradition #2:
Christmas jammies!!
(Momma's favorite)

40% of the sibs!
About to get our 'Santa' on!
Aaron really IS excited,
we couldn't get him to stop talking.
He was a ball of giggles all night!
Really.

Christmas Morn.

Audz was thrilled,
Fox,
not so much!

Ah, Bubba!

Pretty Logi!

Precious Ry-ry!

Daddy and the babes!

Aiden and Joy!

A sight to behold.

Christmas Morning Tradition:
Family pic in the Christmas jammies!

Love!

On more than one occasion
I've wondered what goes through Sai's lil head!
Po baby!

Joy's fun idea,
posing with a favorite toy!

Crazy shot!

Santa diapers.
A must.

Fox modeling the back!

Relaxing with Aunt Joy!
So exhausting being this festive.

Later during the day on Christmas
the clan traveled down to
Redlands.

Jay and Liz and family had arrived.
Fix'n the feast.

Fox and Juliet.
Thrust into a social situation that neither one was ready for.
It took some time.

All the cousins.

A new favorite.....
the crazy shot!

It was a wonderful Christmas.
One that will not soon be forgotten.

It's been so long since all of us had been together.
I hate that I didn't get more pictures.
At the time you think you're taking a million pictures,
but then realize how much you missed when you sit down to blog.

Valerie and Ceasar were there!
Cute Liz announced she was pregnant.
And the kids had a blast playing together.

Lesson learned!
You can never have too many pictures of family!
